Home Insulation Programs and Rebates
Do you want to save on your home insulation? Homes built before 1999 may not have enough insulation. That is why upgrading your home by adding insulation to your attics, ceilings, walls, and foundations can improve not only energy efficiency but also comfort. If you are looking for rebate programs, contact Foametix Insulation to see if you are eligible for an offer.
You can qualify for rebates of up to 100% of insulation materials for the following:
Attic and cathedral ceilings
Foundation walls (basement and crawl space)
How to Participate
Here are the steps that need to be followed in order to participate in the rebates program:
Submit the application
You will need to apply through a registered contractor or retailer who will help you fill out and submit the application. To search for a registered contractor or retailer in your area, check out the online supplier directory. Contractors or retailers not yet registered with Efficiency Manitoba can sign up here.
Want to learn how to correctly measure your insulation area? Refer to the measuring guide.
Get the approval
Once your application is approved by Efficiency Manitoba, your contractor or retailer will let you know and give you your approval number.
Purchase and install insulation
From the date of approval, you will get 12 months for the purchase and installation of your insulation. The materials must be purchased from the contractor or retailer listed on your application. Also, please ensure to meet the insulation requirements.
Prepare and submit final documents
The next step is to complete the calculation schedule and sign the declaration section of the application. Make sure to submit the following documents within 30 days of project completion and 12 months of the approval date to Efficiency Manitoba:
Insulation invoices (including proof of payment)
Get a rebate
Efficiency Manitoba will review and finalize your rebate amount that will be sent out by cheque. A post-verification may be required.
